Sharon Carr

Sharon heads up B&G’s Family Law department and is a member of the Family Law Panel. She joined B&G in 1999 and was made Partner in 2005.

In her work she acts for clients from all ages, backgrounds and circumstances from dealing with complex money cases to those with a limited income. Her experience covers a wide range of areas including divorce, judicial separation, cohabitations, civil partnerships and injunction proceedings. Sharon’s team also work on Children Act proceedings including dealing with hearings in both Magistrates’ and County Court.

Sharon’s cases are often extremely difficult and emotional times for her clients and she finds the most rewarding part of her job when the end of the case is reached and there is a satisfactory result that allows her clients to move on in their lives in a positive way.

Beetenson & Gibbon were one of the first firms in North East Lincolnshire to gain Legal Aid Franchises (now called Contracts) in: Crime, Family, Debt, Housing and Employment. This Specialist Quality Mark as it is now called, means that we have been approved by the Legal Services Commission (formerly The Legal Aid Board) to provide a quality service to our clients.

We continue to successfully pass the rigorous Legal Services Commission Audits of our systems and office procedures to be able to continue to provide a first class Legal Aid service.
